Here's how to calculate: Week 1: 175 lbs Week 2: 170 lbs; percent: (175-170)/175 = 2.9% Week 3: 175 lbs; percent: (170-175)/175= -2.9% Week 4: 172 lbs; percent is NOT (175-172)/175 = 1.7%; the actual percent should be (X-172)/X = (170-172)/170 = -1.2%.

I ALSO have a question.
Jenny is asking how much everyone weighs, and height, etc. Jenny, are you sharing with Yrautca, and Berly how much you and Ash weigh?
Nope, Jennifer is in charge of those things. I only agreed to give her my weight and height etc not anyone else.
Then why is jenny asking for weights from everyone else?? Shouldnt you be entitled to keep track of your own weight? You wouldnt even let her do measurements when I was in her room on the computer. LOL!!! I understand not posting weight on the internet. What are the rules here? Everyone is sharing weight with jenny, but is jenny sharing her weight and measurements with everyone else???
You'll have to ask Jennifer that. As far as her and i are concerned we needed to share those stats to keep track of who is losing what. She can say she's lost 500 pounds but i'd have to see her on the scale to know that she truly has type of thing and vice versa. So we need to know each others starting weights. Though i, unlike her would never have weighed 500 pounds to begin with :)
oh wow. Ash just gave away Jennifer's weight!!!!! It is at least 500+ pounds.
Jennifer I am honored to meet someone over 350 lbs in my entire life.
The primary reason I want weights and heights is because I want to make sure that we're not having anyone participate here who doesn't need to lose weight. I don't want some kind of anorexia site on my hands.
The secondary reason is that I want to be able to keep track of who is losing weight. There isn't much incentive to lie, since there's no real prize at the end or anything, but the math does need to work out and if we're doing percentages I need to know the total weight to figure the percentage from.
Ash and I each know the other's starting weight, and from now on I'll know the starting weight of each new person. Since I'm apparently more than 500 pounds, the rest of you shouldn't be ashamed to tell me their weight.
The number of your weight is no big deal. If you guessed my weight you'd probably way underestimate because I'm pretty muscular for a girl, I've met people who were a much larger size who weighed less.
PP, I think the reason you are so up in arms about the revealing the weight thing is because you want to participate but you don't want to tell me how much you weigh.

I dont agree though that just wanting to lose 15lbs is trivial. You guys know how much effort it takes to lose even a few pounds.
Also remember that if you are overweight you would lose more pounds than someone who is reasonably fit and want to lose more. Losing pounds is inversely proportinal to current weight.
Also, I apologize if Ash and Jennifer were offended by the trash talk.
Dude, you should hear how Ash and I rip into eachother when we are together, no trash talk you could come up with could offend me. Also, since you've never seen me, it would be pretty silly to take anything personally!
I hope you don't take offense to my thoughts on your trivial weight loss. I know it takes a longer time to get rid of 20 pounds or less, that's why we let you compete, but I hope you understand that I will still mock your weight loss efforts on a daily basis, it's just the way I do business, lardass!
You are the President. Any insults are warranted. I am not that easily offended. Anyhoo, I had a couple of bad bad days. Drank beer both days. I am thinking my weight-in on Thursday would be a disappointment.

I hope you two weiners actually beat me this week, it would be so sad (for you guys) if I won after eating a huge steak, a kilo of M&Ms and more deep fry than you can shake a stick at on the weekend.
Jenny....HOw could that be possible? I dont have a scale. I have NO clue how much I weigh anyway. like NO clue. I remember the last time I weighed myself at the gym in MA, but that was in June, right before I moved. So you're guess is as good as mine.
I'm Hardly afraid to tell you how much I weigh. Christ, its not like you dont know every other embarassing thing about me....LOL!
PP, I am under the impression that being as tall as you are you are as thin as Paris Hilton. I do hope you dont look like her. She is fugly.
