Off the wagon

Today I fell off the wagon. It’s been a little rough lately and I have been eating more than normal but today I totally lost it. I was stuck at work late and when I finally left there I rushed to the grocery store with a crazy urge for chocolate chip cookies. On the drive from the store to my house I eyed the cookie dough tube like it was a long lost lover or something. I walked in the door to the house and I didn’t even acknowledge Puppy or take him for his usual walk I just ripped open the cookie dough and chowed down. And here’s the scary part – I don’t even like raw cookie dough very much. But, somehow, the thought of waiting for the oven to pre-heat and forming all those little balls of dough and then waiting for them to cook was too much for me. I just couldn’t wait and I tore into the batter like there was no tomorrow… and then I baked the cookies… while eating more dough… and then I ate the cookies too… with lots of milk (skim at least).

Finally I came to my senses and stopped myself. I scooped up the rest of the uneaten cookies and put them in a Tupperware container to take to work tomorrow. Obviously I can’t be trusted with them.

Heaven help me at my next weigh-in!

Few days late

Sorry to post so late I was away until Saturday and I didn't post on the 18th. My weight stayed the same. My gym was closed for the week as it moved so I was only able to get in a yoga class and a volleyball game for exercise. I did however walk a gagillion miles at this huge mall so I wasn't completely lazy.

I was back at the gym today (which is hot as hell at the new place) and I have a vball game this evening.....and I made my lunch today. So hopefully my numbers will go down next time :)

Slow but Steady

So this week was a bit different for me as I hurt my back, missed yoga and missed the gym. I did however get to see my chiropractor a whole lot. That being said i've lost 2 pounds in the last two weeks. Not much, but I am happy that it is a loss and not a gain. I have been keeping a food/exercise journal as well, to see if it will help to pinpoint where I can improve.

I did look up the nutrition facts for a few of my old favorites and holy shit, I had no idea the amount of fat and calories in these things. Seriously, every now and again I would get a Green Tea Frappucino and an Oatmeal Fudge Bar....ummmm turns out that "snack" is like almost 1000 calories.
