So we weighed in for the first time in the new renewed BL competition last Thursday. I was expecting Ash to write a post about the results, but I guess she was embarrassed.... or maybe her fingers are too fat to hit the keys on the keyboard of her computer.
Anyway, Ashley slogged her way through two difficult weeks of diet and exercise and only lost 1 lb. I didn't do my initial weigh in until half way through the first week, then I didn't eat less or exercise more than I normally do, but I did have an extremely stressful week including a close family member surgery having surgery. After all that, I lost 5 lbs.
The message here is probably not going lead anyone towards a clean living lifestyle... but the important thing is that I won bitches! Wahaha, I didn't even try....
Ash, I hope you bring it next week, I hurt myself at rollerderby last night (photos to follow on my blog if there's any worthwhile bruise), so I can't do much exercise, but I'm still stressed out so I'll probably keep shrinking.

Trying
So it's been almost a week of trying to stay on track. I've been doing rather well lots of yogurt, veggies and such. I've also been exercising, riding my bike and swimming mostly, still trying to grasp onto every last bit of nice weather though i've seen the inside of the gym as well.
I've also layed off the booze to see if that helps at all and i've made it one of my 100 goals to be liqour free for one month. I did enjoy a plate of fried zucchini the other evening with Jennifer but that has been my only treat and damn it was good. If i'm dying for something sweet I'll have a protein shake from the gym or I bought some weight watchers desserts and some low fat chocolate ice cream treats. So far i'm feeling ok with it all though I better see some results next week at weigh in time or I will most likely be incredibly discouraged.

Tomorrow's the day
