Unlike Jenn's cut and pastes.
Check out this ideal weight table. Then use the calculator at the bottom of the link to determine your body mass index. I need to lower mine.

Ash and I are challenging eachother to a Biggest Loser style weight loss competition and we want you to see all the trash talk as it happens. Here's how to calculate: Week 1: 175 lbs Week 2: 170 lbs; percent: (175-170)/175 = 2.9% Week 3: 175 lbs; percent: (170-175)/175= -2.9% Week 4: 172 lbs; percent is NOT (175-172)/175 = 1.7%; the actual percent should be (X-172)/X = (170-172)/170 = -1.2%.

yeah...definetly need to lower mine as well... Yikes.
It's good to know i was at my ideal weight when i was 20 ......
I already knew what my BMI was, yikes :(
I read accross that table and thought, this is great, my goal weight could be a few pounds higher, then I realized that was for men and that the high end of my healthy weight range was lower than the chart I used.
Oh man, you totally ruined my day. I should have known better because I did that BMI thing at work that one day and it almost made me cry. I don't get it at all -- My BMI score is in the "normal" range listed at the bottom of the page. But, when it gave me my score, a little note popped up that said "high" -- How can I be high and normal? So confused. I'm going to just keep telling myself that I am in the normal range and that everything will be alright...
Just call me fatty!
