What to do what to do.....

So i was thinking of trying out Weight Watchers online. I actually have their point book from a friend who is a member, however i thought it might help to have something a little more structured. She attends the meetings which she figured were about $16 a week. I'd rather not dish out that much, however their online program is $85 for 3 months and just over $60 for one month (they have a silly $40 registration fee). I'm thinking about doing the 3 months.

Any thoughts on this?

I signed up for that website in 2006. Although I dont go on there much anymore, I thought it was a useful resource. They help you keep track of points etc and you can also look at recipes.

Its up to you. Its a good motivator but I never needed that website for more than a week or so.

I think it sounds good. I am thinking of doing the same. I don't have time for meetings.

Well, you don't really NEED the Weight Watchers resources on there. You can find eveything you need to calculate points on DietFacts.com. So, you just need to:
1. Calculate the number of points you get per day
2. Tally your food/points intake per day and write them down
3. Weigh yourself every Thursday (at roughly the same time each week) and keep a track of your progress

For me, the only reason to join Weight Watchers is to go to the physical meetings where you HAVE to weigh in and be honest about how you did that week. So, it's really just the accountability. But, if you think you can be accountable without the meetings then there is really no reason to join. Just use what you need from the system without paying for it.

Also, I will look for some meat-free WW recipes for you =)

Hey all...only down a pound this week. Have been working super long days at the office...they apparently do not want me to get laid.

I seriously lost like 1/2 pound. Is that possible....it's not quite where it was on the scale. *sigh* I've been trying the WW points since monday so i'll keep going. I haven't exercised though and we do have that party this weekend. I'll be relatively good.
