New Job and Weight Loss

I lost 0.6% this week, I worked really hard at it especially because I didn't have time to exercise. I started a new job which would normally cause me to gain weight, but I'm hell- bent on forming good habits with this job. Luckily, there's a subway sandwich shop across the road, so I can have a low cal lunch even when I don't bring anything, and I've brought a bunch of fruit and frozen home-made bran muffins in as well. So I think I'm on the right track, on the other hand, I just ate two nanimo bars of the table in the back, so I suppose I still have a little bit of work to do on my habits.

ugh i gained a pound with good reason. I ate a good majority of my meals at restaurants this week. Every once in a while i go nuts like this and just eat out. I had taco bell, the mandarin, a sub, more chinese.....

I've decided to spend this weekend on me. I'm going to get groceries and make healthy meals, i'm going to relax and read, maybe do a bit of shopping, but i am also definately getting back to the gym and my horrendously expensive vitamin powder that has been taking up space in my fridge. I've just felt really blah since we've been back which is no excuse but i'm not motivated at all. I need to kick my ass into gear this weekend.

I lost 2 pounds. This total is for 2 weeks though since last Thursday was Thanksgiving and I didn't weigh in.

We learned at our meeting today that the average American gains 8-10 pounds between Oct. 31 and Dec. 31 and most people never take off that weight. Those numbers seem a little high to me but either way it should serve as motivation for us all not to become part of this holiday weight gain statistic (and you Canadians better watch it too - don't think you're exempt here).

Happy December everyone!

I'm fairly sure I gained this week...didn't even bother to weigh in because I was so sure.

Frankly...I've been sick since Saturday, I'm still sick...and unfortunately I'm a comfort eater.

However, with the revelations of the email mentioned in my blog...I have to drop weight asap.
