Badunkadunk

Here we are again. Unfortunately my on the go ass has been just that, i was out of town for a week and therefore eating take-out sans exercise. The breakfast at these conferences are all muffins and carbs nothing healthy. It's all i had to work with this past week, so needless to say no loss and about 2 pounds gained. Jennifer and I however did get in some exercise on saturday at the roller rink and the arty farty thing. I'm off to the gym this evening and i brought some eggplant for lunch. I have another wedding to be in next April, i refuse to be fat for this one :)

You also refuse to quit stuffing your face, which is it going to be fatty?

I started following the Weight Watchers plan on Tuesday, and I forgot how good it is. I haven't lost anything yet, but I can already feel the difference. Despite Thanksgiving, this weekend (yes this weekend is when Thanksgiving is in Canada), I think I'm going to have some loss next week.

Last week Ash and I got dressed in saris and went to an Indian dance thing. I had the blouse of my sari custom made, so one would expect it to fit like a glove, but when I put it on it was huge. I worked it out, and realized that since I got it made 2 years ago I must have lost 40 lbs. I didn't really feel that much thinner, so I had a look at some pictures. Man, I was fat! I didn't feel that fat. I don't think my body image is really that connected to my weight - I did't feel that bad at the time, and I don't feel all that much better now.
It's reassuring though, to know that I can lose 40. It makes the loss I have left to go feel doable.
I have a couple of new recipes, with points values, I'll post them if I get around to it.
Also, I found on the internet how to figure points from the cal, fat and fibre amount on the nutrition label.

As I mentioned, I've been going through old photos of late. I've been using the red eye eliminator on my computer's editing software to fix up some of my pictures. Here's my question, why hasn't anyone invented an easy way to take double chins out of pictures. They'd make a fortune.
I can't print a single photo of Ashley without her double chin taking up half of it. Next time we go out together Ash, it's top down pictures only!

I am even for the week.

Jennifer, I think that a lot of people on TV and magazines have double chins in real life. A little makeup can do wonders.

However, some of us may be beyond makeup at this stage ;)

Obviously I had gained weight back. I don't even want to talk about how my shirt doesn't want to cover my ass. Whatever.

Anywho..since I've been back on the bandwagon this week. I did manage to lose 1.5 lbs. It's not much but hell it's a start.

I'm down 1.2 this week.

Jennifer -- I am sooooo proud of you going back on WW. I really have enjoyed it. And, I've been looking at some old photos lately too and wishing I could throw them all away due to my chubbiness. But, I'm too nostalgic for all that. I don't know about a double chin remover, but I did see this camera on t.v. one time that made you look 10 lbs. thinner. I don't know how the camera did it but it seemed to work. I've never actually seen it in stores though. And (though this isn't a quick solution) you could Photoshop it out. I've never done anything like that but Hubby fixed a photo for a friend on mine once because she thought her arm looked too fat. It actually turned out looking really good. But, I'm sure you gals don't really need all that =)

So, it's Sunday, and I've been following Weight Watcher's for 5 days now. It's really good, I'm noticing a big difference. I still have weight to lose before I can register new loss, but it's coming along. I must admit that I used almost all my points yesterday on dinner at Burger King, but, I managed to stay within my daily limit, which is some kind of minor miracle of zero point wonders.
I'm at school and working this coming week, and at work, there's no microwave or fridge. I'm ready to go with pre-made lunches, but I need to warm them up, not sure how to handle that, I suppose I could just get makings for sandwiches and salads. The upside is that I may not have time to sneak out to any restaurants for lunch and pig out. Also, I did some research and found that some of the Timmy's sandwiches (closest fastest place to my office) are 8 points, which isn't great, but isn't astronomical considering how convenient they are.

Good on ya jennifer. I am glad to joined the club. Thing I learned from WW is that it allows me to eat even more than before but only the good stuff. I actually some days eat more than I used to but as long as its healthy stuff its ok!
