Alright, so the wedding has come and gone, i fit into the dress and all went well. I apparently decided to give myself an entire week of pigging out, i didn't plan it that way it just happened. I got on this insatiable kick with poutine and ate it 3 or 4 times this week. I went to the Mandarin for Father's day and i went out for fried appetizers last night. I of course gained 2 pounds this week. So now in order to count new lost weight i will have to lose 3 pounds before counting. I must say, my tummy has not felt the best all week, especially yesterday after all the fried food, so my body sure is saying something to me. I think i've fulfilled all of my cravings for quite some time now and can get back to eating properly. I've decided that following that nutrition plan just makes me starve and puts me over the edge and i give up on it very easily. So unless it's a quick few pounds i need to lose, i'm going to concentrate more now on just eating healthier, adding more salads and veggies, choosing good carbs, that type of thing.
As well, i am now housesitting for 2 weeks. They have a pool and i absolutely love nothing more than being in the water and swimming around, so i will definately be exercising that way. As well there is an elliptical right in the house and a trail along the water about a 5 min walk away. There are plenty of opportunites to get fit. I'm really looking forward to the next 2 weeks :)

Don't even ask.
P.S. I'm with you Ms. Ash on the upset tummy and the sitting by the pool. That will be me next week and since no one else will be around. I can wear my bathing suit and not give a damn.
It was a great week for me. I worked out regularly. I am also changing my eating habits and have had breakfast every single day this week. I heard missing breakfast can increase your chance of storing fat by 450%.
Anyway, I am even for the week. At least I burned what I ate. I am confident that next week if I continue my routine I will have a loss.
I don't get it, I'm getting thinner but I'm not losing weight. Is this physically possible? Maybe it's a miracle, I should contact the Vatican in case I want to become a saint after I die.
Today I wore some jeans I bought on sale a while ago. I've put them on a few times since I bought them, but I couldn't wear them yet because they were so tight they caused a fat bulge at the waist. Today I put them on for motivation and they fit, in fact they are actually not tight on my thighs. I also noticed a distinct thigh bagginess in the pants I wore last night.
Still no loss. I'm trying not to get discouraged. I see my goal for the summer slipping away. But at the rate I'm going, I'll at least be super-model thin and still weigh the same amount.
Oh and Yrautca, you're right about the breakfast thing, but you still have to have a healthy breakfast - bacon, eggs, french toast and waffles won't reduce your chance of weight-gain by 450%.
I like oatmeal, fruit and low-fat yoghurt. The old fashioned oatmeal only takes 4 minutes in the microwave and if I know I'll be rushing in the morning I prepare the fruit ahead of time. This week I have pineapple, blueberries, cherries, plums, clementines and a new fruit called a pluot that's a cross between a plum and an apricot.
I don't think I'll ever wear a bathing suit again.
It's just depressing.
Jennifer's getting thinner with no loss. I'm getting fatter with no gain.
Yrautca - I could have sworn you told me to eat breakfast months ago. Are you sure this is new news to you?
Jennifer, I am only eating the healthy stuff. My breakfast has been milk, fat-free yogurt, fruits like banana and apple.
berly, I knew about breakfast for a long time but never ate it. Now I started eating it. That’s the difference.
