Mediocracy at it's best

Well, i'm happy to say i have not gained....though on the downside i have not lost. I've been stagnent for weeks now. I can definately say though that i have not been trying like i was in the beginning. I have not seen the inside of my gym in almost a month as well i have not bothered to pack good lunches. Twice this week i ran over to the hospital cafeteria to get take-out. I did have crab salad on a croissant with fruit and yogurt though, so not too terribly bad, minus the mayo and croissant.

I guess i realize the wedding is coming in less than a month and what could i possibly do in that little time to change anything? I have not given up, but i've not seen any changes in the past little while, rightfully so as i've been quite lax in my attempts to be healthy. I went for my dress fitting yesterday and i do fit into the dress so that is a bonus. Now whether i will feel comfortable is said dress is a completely different story. No way!!! When i weighed 40 pounds less i did not feel comfortable in tank tops and sleeveless shirts, nothing has changed in that respect and this is one of those skirts with a separate top that is like a tube top. I just may look like a stuffed sausage roll....

Oh Ash!
I'd like to refer you back to the first month of the competition. You're just giving up cause you are lazy. If you buckle down, you can do wonders in a month, besides, what are you going to do after the month, still be fat that's what. There's no time like the present to get started, because the longer you wait, the longer you'll be fat. Then you'll do it, and you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.
Besides, you'll regret not even trying when you look like a sausage in your dress, if there are no sleeves on your dress, why don't you just go to the gym and do some arms every other day, if nothing else.
Anyway, that said, I am hovering at my previous lowest weight, from before my trip to New York. What that means is that I took a trip to Vegas, ate like a pig and drank like a fish and I still lost a few pounds.
I'm hoping to take it to a new low next week, but it's the BF's birthday and we are going out for seafood on Wednesday night. The BF suggested that I should order my platter of shrimp and crab, and then only eat the salad, and take the seafood to go and eat it the next day. I thought that was a pretty clever plan. I'll probably just try to eat in moderation.
I'm feeling really positive though. I'm still shrinking, and enjoying being smaller. Before I went to Vegas I took out the sewing machine and altered several pairs of pants to fit my new smaller body. Also I wore a dress to the wedding that I'd bought while it was too tight and had on my dress-makers dummy for months waiting for it to fit. I looked pretty hot, if I do say so myself. The wedding was broadcast over the internet to the folks at home, and several people told me they thought I looked great. So, that's a motivator for sure.
I've been bringing having oatmeal for breakfast, Lean Cuisine for lunch with a fruit, and salady things for dinner. I think I'm right on track at the moment.

:)

This reminds me of a conversation we had years ago regarding university. I was torn as to what i should do. Jennifer told me i might as well go at least part time and i complained it would take me years and years to get a degree that way. She told me the years and years were going to pass by regardless, so i might as well have something to show for it.

Exactly!

By the way, where's everyone else?
Did the rolls of fat on your enormous bellies obscure your view of your desk calendars?
It's Thursday, the day we find out how fat you all are!

Ummmm . . . I really do have to resign. Although I will constantly check and comment on everyone else's weightloss/gain, I can no longer participate in THE BIGGEST LOSER.

(It's not cause I'm lazy, it's cause I'm pregnant)

Holy Crap!
Congratulations!
That's awesome!
Of course, if we're still at it in however many months, when it's time to lose baby weight, you'll be back with even more to lose! Don't worry, Ash will still be the same weight she is now, if not fatter.

I actually gained a couple of pounds since last week, mainly due to test related stress.

Congrats berly!!

Yrautca,
FYI, it's not stress that makes you fat, it's all the shitty food that you cram in your mouth, while making excuses.

So who won this week anyway, Berly's out, Yrautca gained, that leaves me Ash and Linny. I lost, but not lower than my previous lowest. Did Ash say she gained or not?

Oh and Ash and I saw eachother last night. We went and got some Vietnamese food, while we were out the bf ordered some food, not realizing I was out getting food.
He got me a burger and fries. I finished my Vietnamese, which was a pretty moderate portion, and proceeded to eat the fries. Ash cheered me on and then tried to get me to eat the burger too, as if somehow this would work to her advantage. Ash, I'd like you to know that this morning I weighed a pound less than I did yesterday morning.

Thanks everyone. I will for sure have to be back to losing once the baby is here. I can't be a fat mom!

jennifer, can you explain why accordingly to you, you keep getting thinner and thinner despite all the booze, frech fries, and cheese burger and vietnamese you eat all the time?

Maybe we can all use your method.

insert rolly eyes emoticon here.

Yrautca,
Maybe it's all the sour grapes you are eating that are making you fat.

Here's a tip, if you take in less calories in a day than you burn in a day, then you will lose weight.
